Alice Waters commissioned Berkeley graphic designer and printer David Lance Goines to create a poster for the first anniversary of Chez Panisse in 1971. Each year from then until his death in 2023, he has made a new poster to celebrate the birthday of the legendary Bay Area restaurant. Each year's design is completely different. Early years are highly desirable.

Edition of 2113 (of which 200 were signed plus 26 artist proofs). With artist's insignia in plate on recto (not signed).

Condition: Poster in excellent condition; frame has crack in glazing, lower right corner, with small piece of glass missing.
